Champions League Final

Why is Chivu wearing a rugby helmet?

Inter playing anti-football so far.

Fractured his skull at the start of the year.

Finally something happens.

Bonner to Cascarino to Sheedy and Inter are in front.

John Byrne-esque finish actually.

Real English style kick and rush there proving successful. Graham Taylor would have been proud.

Inter will continue on like this and will add another goal or two before the end.

Sneijder should have sealed it for Inter there.

Poor enough first half. Tough to see how Bayern will break Inter down now, unless Robben performs something special again.

As an aside, Howard Webb is bringing shame on to the EPL here. No idea why the FA put him forward as England’s top referee. He’s one of the worst in the league.

Johnny Giles showing why he is the “senior analyst” as he cant remember who the right winger for Bayern is.

Great start to the 2nd half.

Robben is on a totally different wavelength to the likes of Olic, Muller and Schweinsteiger. He’s thinking a good second ahead of them. He’s their only hope.

Robben indeed is running the show for Bayern.

Classy finish from Milito. Bayern had to go for it so this was always on the cards.

Diego Maradona will take one look at that and decide he doesn’t need Milito for the World Cup.

When Jose wins the champions league he leaves. I wonder how long it takes him to get Cristiano tracking back.

Robben will likely once again be facing a defence with Lucio and Maicon in it in a World Cup Quarter Final. The Dutch will have a shout this summer.

Milito may have taken his two goals brilliantly but he’s no Martin Palermo.

In fairness it’s difficult to see where Cambiasso or Zanetti could have done a job for Argentina. :stuck_out_tongue:

Poxy stream went with seven to go.

All too easy for Inter. Better team. Demichelis was truly shit for that second goal. Milito ambled at him and still managed to turn him. Bayern only had one threat which made it really easy to neutralise Robben. Their passing was way to slow to get a look in.

Fair play Mourihno.

Next season’s Spanish league should be one to savour. Mourinho’s record is phenomenal by any standards. In his last seven full seasons as a manager (not counting 07-08 when he was gone from Chelsea in September) he has won six league titles and two Champions Leagues. Incredible.
