Didnât even bother tuning into that paddling last night. It was inevitable.
We needed a central midfielder (or two) in that transfer window and got none. Instead they ended up with a right back signed before the deadline in there.

That UEFA formation was wrong, pal. Gamboa played right back in a 5-4-1. Brown and Bitton were overrun in the middle with Roberts and Sinclair on the flanks. The back 5 were dragged all over the place but we needed another body in central midfield. De Vries was muck too - 7 goals from 9 shots on target.

Saw the goals just there.
Words cannot do justice to how bad a keeper De Vries is. He should have saved about 5 of them. He is flat footed and a pussy.
The first Messi goal was shocking, he should have been standing up to it. The free should have been a routine save, he let Suarez take a ball down inside the six yard box and volley it home.
Fucking hell. If we had a decent keeper we would probably have came out with a respectable 3-0 defeat.

Shit is a bit harsh but the gap between the big teams and the smaller ones is huge now. Most of the teams playing each other have a player that cost more than the opposing sideâs first XI.
It probably is harsh, but picking the qualifying 16 or even 8 teams is far too academic.
