Not much to disagree with on the player ratings either Bandage but I’d make a special mention for Strachan. By no means did McGeady have an excellent game but he did a superb job on Jankulovski. Milan’s narrow formation means they depend on their full backs to bomb on and both Jarosik and McGeady were superb at stopping those runs forward. It’s not a fair reflection on Ancelotti to say that Strachan has figured him out because Ancelotti is clearly a top class coach, but Strachan has certainly figured out how best Celtic should set themselves up to nullify their threats.
