Milan lack a cutting edge up front but I think theyâll nick one and probably send it to extra time.
Needs to bring in Bale, and possible Pav* as well.
*I donât know him as Pav, just couldnât be fucked spelling his name.
How has Crouch not got booked yet?
Spurs are a disgrace to football.
TASE is really poor at hiding himself behind a new user name.
Seedorf has been excellent tonight. Plenty pace and fitness in those legs.
Havent been watching it, but havent they got some huge name striker up front for them?
been good alright, playing in a more holding role where pirlo usually plays and where Gatuso was the last night. Merkel should ahve started for Prince, he was carrying an injury and Merkel already has looked more lively.
I can confirm TASE is playing 5 a side tonight Kev
I can see Milan grabbing a goal here, running short on time however.
Yes, was just thinking that Seedorfâs been very classy in the deep lying playmaker role. He was constantly hounded off the ball by Sandro in particular in the first leg when he was playing in the advanced role beyond the midfield three and behind the two strikers. Much more time on the ball for him tonight with Spurs playing quite deep and heâs been excellent.
Sandro has had a stormer for SpursâŚ
This will be a bad 24 hours for Arsenal fansâŚ
Mickee, take your bow son
fuck it anyway. left that game behind. the better side tonight, and a shit breakaway goal is what cost them. not enough cutting edge, and even saying that, Milan had some great chances to score and should have taken them. the team selection the last night fucked them up too, and even tonight, some questionable picks. Spurs did enough in the first leg and just about scraped through tonight.
To think Dawson was part of the deal that took Andy Reid to Spurs and a bit of an afterthought at that eh? Hows things treating you these days Andy, you fat lazy cunt.
Great achievement for Spurs to make the last eight. They were more than a bit lucky tonight though and were actually pretty poor and resorted to hoofing it away and defending deep and in numbers. But they played very well in Milan in fairness to them. You would have expected Robinho to take one of the three big chances that came his way, especially the scuffed effort that Gallas cleared off the line in the first half.
Go fcuk yourself you greasy cunt.
Go on the Jews!
Briliant stuff from Tottenham defensivly and fair play for grinding out a result but my god they made it hard for themselves
some excellent albeit nervous defending all night that the real Italian teams of old and the likes of Bergomi, Baresi and the great exponets of Catennatia like Costacurta and Sciena would have been proud of **.
i thought Sandro was excellent throughout and Dawson, they have held Milan scoreless over 2 legs and deserve praise.
attacking wise i was disappointed with Modric and Lennon and would have preferred to them to run at that creaking Milan defense but instead they just semed to freeze
i said it before xmas when the draw was made an so it came to pass tonight that Milanâs most aged son Pippo Inzhagi was ultimatly to prove to be their biggest loss as they simply couldnt buy a goal out there.
Im not been sarcastic on here when i say they have reaped what they have sown with that streak of piss Ibramhimovic on the pitch, he attitude is absolutly appaling and for the money the paid for him deserve everything they get.
I felt sorry for Pato tonight, he is a decent bit of stuff and must have been sick that Robinho and Zlatan were so apathetic around himâŚ
Fuck that Milan team, a pitiful colection of individuals and casting a shadow on a once great club
** slight exaggeration on my behalf
By the way, I believe Pato is knocking off Silvioâs daughter, the heir to the Rossoneri.
Agreed with all that.
Serious achievement for Spurs. Milan should have at least won on the night and Spurs will have to defend better in the next round. Newstalk were making an awful lot of the fact they kept two clean sheets against Milan but they enjoyed good fortune and they really should have conceded if Robinho in particular had shown more composure. Milan really lacked that bit extra in midfield, particularly in the first leg. Theyâve fallen a long way from the Ambrosini-Pirlo-Gattuso-Seedorf-Kaka combination that had excellent players playing disciplined but fluid roles in an excellent system.
Manuel Neuer.
