Borussia Dortmund are very much in the danger zone now as they are 2-1 down on the night.
George clearly hasn’t a clue about the away goals rule
You can almost feel the tension at Old Trafford.
Neither do I as my post on the Dortmund game shows.
May the footballing Gods* for once smile kindly on David Moyes.
*Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge have nothing to with this.
He should just have assumed the rest of us know it instead of making a mess of explaining it and getting his calculations all wrong.
Tremendous work by Fellaini down the right.
It is ironic that Ferdinand is seeking compassion for Van Persie as he lay haunced on the ground in distress. Van Persie didn’t show his victim much compassion as she said “no”, “get off me” and “stop” all those years ago in Rotterdam.
Moyesie has found his best position. That’s great management.
Zenit st Petersburg fans burning the German flag at the match. The Russians are itching for a war
Repaid his transfer fee with that cameo.
What a performance.
Great to be in the hat for the last 8.

‘The goalie looks dodgy. He has flapped at some crosses (even though he hasn’t). United should get balls in under the cross bar and get some players charging in on him’.
How can an excellent player in his day talk such shite?[/QUOTE]
Dunphy looks a bit shook.
Weeeeey heeeeeyy some plan by Moyes and the boys to throw the dead rubber against Liverpool Sunday and thus lulling the Greeks into a false sense of security,David Moyes has executed a plot greater than that of the Trojan horse!

It appeared from the exchange that Eamon and Kenny don’t have much time for each other.
All the other teams will be shaking at the prospect of playing Utd. Dave De Gea kept that tie alive at 1.0 with that outstanding double save. Bring on anyone now.

Didn’t see the post match analysis - what went on with Kenny and Eamonn?
I had to turn it off but Kenny took the stance that United had the nucleus of a decent young squad there and just needed to add some quality players which is a very optimistic but not entirely left field stance. Dunphy scoffed at this and more or less said they were all shit. They then had a laughable conversation about the transfer market where Dunphy said that there were only less than 5 players available in the summer that could improve United (despite saying that the entire squad were brutal 2 minutes before that) and that City or Chelsea or Real would buy them instead anyway.
Tony Kroos came up and Kenny said he would add to United’s midfield-Dunphy said that Kroos wasn’t good enough to play regularly for Bayern and that he wasn’t a midfielder anyway and that he was a 10. At this stage, Kenny was smiling away to himself and kept winding Dunphy up although it must be said that Eamon looked particularly shook last night and may well have been very, very drunk. I must watch it back myself as I was distracted myself and was trying to watch more of it but couldn’t due to a nagging, whiny sound in my ear.
