Kane is obviously good but heās not exactly a long-term signing.
For the extortionate amount of money that heād probably cost, thereās almost certainly better value elsewhere.

Victor Osimhen from Napoli would appear to be a fresher alternative for the likes of Man Utd.
The biggest crime is that he has ignored the Spurs tradition of playing attractive football without any further success, last night was just pathetic, thatās a decent (and incredibly expensive) squad on paper

In fairness Spurs would be a very distant 6th in the Premier League in terms of the expense involved in accumulating their squad.
Thatās not to say Conte wasnāt backed though. Similar to his time at Chelsea he doesnāt really know how to build squad depth. He was lost in the summer of 2017 when it came to adding to his starting 11. Signed duds like Zappacosta, Barkley and Drinkwater for a fair wad of cash. Richarlison for ā¬60 million will be viewed in a similar manner in years to come. That rotation option in attack has been a thorn in Spurs side for about 7/8 years now. Likes of Vincent Jansen and Carlos Vinicius have flopped too.
