Champions League - Round of 4

Ray and George outdoing themselves on poor guesswork there. George reckoned Adrian was withdrawn with an eye on the final. Even if it was to do with the yellow card, and not tactically motivated, Iā€™d guess Simeone would be more concerned about finishing with 11 tonight.

Then Ray informed us that Raul Garcia is a sitting midfielder.

Some pace to this now.

Friend of the forum Ewan MacKenna wondering how Atletico still have eleven on the pitch. Did I miss something?

Ah lovelyā€¦ cracker.

Nope. Heā€™s the type of hapless chap who takes an interest in loads of sports but doesnā€™t seem to get any of them.

This is working out rather splendidly

Woohoo!

Fuck you, Maureen!

Arda Turan did very well there. First header was a very decent effort at pace.

Up your bollix Jose.

That was a beautiful image of the Chelsea fans looking glum.

Big worry for Montrose must be that their Spanish football expert might be poached by Sky or Canalsport or someone before the final. Donā€™t go Eamonn.

:pint:Did I once question your football knowledge, pal?

Felipe Luis is some left full.

I hope that Arab-looking kid who was caught on camera crying his eyes out after Iniesta scored in 2009 is there again tonight.

I think Simeone did that run down the line on purpose to take the piss out of Mourinho. Nothing off the cuff about its delayed nature.

When I supported Atleti/Atletico for 14 weeks in 2011, Iā€™m nearly sure he was known as Luis Felipe/Filipe and was pretty shit.

Heā€™s just made the point that Chelsea being outclassed tonight is proof of how well Mourinho has done with them.

Some sort of odd logic that this is their true level and theyā€™ve been overperforming all season thanks to Jose but this isnā€™t down to Jose at all, this is down to a poorly resourced Chelsea team proving how poor they would be if Mourinho wasnā€™t managing them.
