Outragious scenes:clap:
Amazing fighting spirit from Celtic to come back from being eliminated from Europe for the second time in three years.
Best name on the board!
Fucked if I’ll be ever tagging you on a post though
Thanks for agreeing to this Legia Warsaw Pact, pal.
So long Dirty Hands Walter, Bartosz is the new sheriff in town.

I like the way the name is displayed under your avatar, it looks like Bartosz Bereszynski ego, nice bit of subtext there
Default the two sweetest words in the English language.
Hail. Hail. The Celts are here
How sickened would you be if you supported the Polish crowd.
Justice for the balbec kids
You’ll never ever beat the athletic wing of the IRA.
Poor @Ebeneezer Goode signed out of supporting Celtic. What sort of idiot doesn’t watch the match with the UEFA rulebook, the squad lists and pre-prepared notes on eligibility at hand? Did he not even realise what they’d done? Wouldn’t surprise me if it only dawned on him yesterday.
A proud day for Ireland.
The likes of Southampton and Stoke will have been mugged off good and proper here as well
That excellent goalkeeper and upstanding gentleman Forster and that lazy, uninterested, unprofessional cunt Van Dijk will be seething.
You have to hand it to Ronny Deila.
All the criticism of him being tactically inept now looks very foolish.
He basically deliberately threw the tie to keep the players fresh for the final qualifying round.
That’s superb management.
Celtic have been handed a last minute Champions League reprieve and will take their place in the third round qualifying draw after Legia Warsaw were removed from the competition for fielding an illegible player.
The Bhoys were soundly beaten by the Polish side in their qualification tie, losing 6-1 on aggregate but UEFA have ruled that Bartosz Bereszynski was illegible to play in their second leg and awarded a 3-0 victory to Celtic as a punishment.
Legia originally won that tie 2-0 but with the game now being given to Celtic as a 3-0 win, the Scottish side progress to the third qualifying round on away goals, having lose the first leg 1-0 in Poland.
A statement from UEFA confirmed: "The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body have announced that Legia have been sanctioned for fielding an ineligible player in their second leg against Celtic.
“The match has been declared as forfeit and Legia have lost the match 3-0. As a consequence, Celtic have qualified for the play-offs on away goals (agg: 4-4) and Legia will compete in the UEFA Europa League play-offs.”
Took this from RTE. But if Legia Warsaw won the first leg 5-1, would they have gone through? Seems a bit daft.

Correct. There is precedent for a 4-0 win and a 2-0 win becoming a 4-3 after the 2-0 was reversed to a 0-3 but the side who fielded the ineligible player got through.
Away goals got Celtic through, but if a team wins by forfeit in an away leg, those 3 goals don’t count as away goals - which has also happened before.
I’ve been long enough away to make my point. Returning now. Thanks for all the support.
