It was a wicked deflection alright but the flight of the ball was apparent before it reached the 18 yard line and it wasn’t particularly venomous. He doesn’t seem to move his feet very well.

I thought the bounce it took near the penalty spot altered its flight significantly, like a Muttiah Muralitaharan special.
