I have no problem with pros riding in these races as all these horses run under rules. Foxhunters should be postponed as these dont run under rules.
Era it’s just not the same tbh. I don’t really care either way tbh.
Since 1995 80 percent of hurdle races were won by Irish horses when the ground is officially soft or worse.
@fenwaypark did you take any look at time to get up for Jp/johnjoe in the Kim muir? Off 138. No way 8 pounds stopped it from winning last time. Bolted up off 130.
Kemboy goes for Gold cup instead of Ryanair or World hurdle.
Was always going to happen with Mullins mob handed for Ryanair.
Plenty of Elliot’s crew looking to get the trixie of quilixious, sir gerhard and zanahiyr on for cheltenham the past few days.
Nicky confirms altior will wear cheekpieces in the champion chase. Outside of my sir Gerhard I don’t think I want any horse to win as much as him.
The way he’s been dismissed by the media is a disgrace. One of the all time greats for me.
I’m going to back Altior. You have remember you are talking about one of the bona fide all time greats here. If he is within 3 lengths of Chacon jumping the last he wins. I have never seen a two mile chaser power up a hill like Altior. If Moscow could win at 11, so too can Altior. At current prices, he has to be backed.
Why do you want Sir Gerhard to win so much?
My friend bred him.
Agreed he’s being completely dismissed. He fancies that hill as well. He’s the best each way bet of the week.
In the graded races…
I’d a few quid each way on micro manage @ 50s for the supreme.
I think if he wins on Sunday he’ll be a 14s or 16s shot. He was 109 horse on the flat and if he translates that ability to hurdling he will be very good.
Looking very likely it’ll be a good to soft at Cheltenham too. Which suit micro manage.
The supreme is very weak and drying ground could see it cut up further.
Noticeable he’s been supported on the exchange from 3 figures to 60/1 too in the past few days.
If he’s just shite on Sunday I doubt he’ll travel over. So you get your money back.
I got a message from a buddy there saying Gavin Lynch is after tipping it in some preview night tonight.
Where? 40s now on the Machine.
I just rewatched his first run again. Far too keen but he can hurdle. If willie has him right and they go a clip he’ll bang there at the last.
Might interest you.
Do Willie’s 2nd or 3rd strings do much in those graded races? I thought his short pricers generally placed unless they’d fallen but the 2nds or 3rds generally ended up sipping at the Guinness tents?
