I think I remember a defender doing a class flick to whoever drove it forward to McGrath, but I would need to see it again to be sure.

Just had a look there, It wasn’t as great a flick away as I thought at the time, but it was still pretty good.
Ah it wasn’t the worst. He didn’t throw it with any real venom, it was just to try put him off. Not the nicest thing obviously but i wouldn’t hold it against them.

seem to remember Pa Carey getting a straight red around 97 for a similar incident.
I’d be interested to get an answer on this too. I was fairly disgusted by it, even though I accept it wasn’t overly dangerous. It’s just not the done thing and lacked class.

Depends on the ref. There wasn’t much malice in what Tennyson did. Wouldn’t have liked to see him walk for that.
Thought Wadding wasn’t great yesterday tbh but have revised my opinion somewhat after seeing it on tv. He’s still too whistle happy for me. Lots of times he could have let the advantage develop and he stopped the game instead. In a game of that quality it’s very frustrating to watch.
