I see Joe.ie are hyping up Ballyea as a tiny rural location which doesn’t even have a pub and that maybe that’s the secret. Do Ballyea not have quite a few footballers from other clubs amongst their ranks? Not quite the fairytale story they’re trying to suggest. Some win without Tony Kelly though.

Probably not I’d say. Nothing wrong with at all but Joe.ie not grasping they have a bigger pick than a village with no pub suggests.

They have a big pick, but they are all footballers, I’d say it’s a fair old indictment of the rest of the hurling clubs in Clare’s current crops.
