It isn’t a bad team on paper, the vibes seem to be good with them and they have gone ok in challenge matches. Meehan is a big loss as is Oisin O’Donnell who was one of the few lads to stand out v Limerick last year.

Bugler typically sets his sides up with a sweeper so you would think Kirwin will move out the field and Galvin will be deployed in the sweeper role.

Think this side should be better than the last few years but think they are on the wrong side of the draw unfortunately. Think they will give two good accounts of themselves but a victory in either would be minor shocks.

Interestingly enough not one of the ASR team made the panel. Thought O’Farrell from Broadford and Kennedy from the bridge would be in the mix

It’s a decent team alright. Tough being stuck with the two strongest teams. Every chance ye would beat all three teams on the other side.

Its a lovely format this year. Gives the Munster teams a huge advantage over whoever comes through Leinster.

Limerick are down 5 starters…Mike Keane, Ronan Lyons, Paddy O’Donovan, Liam Lynch and Diarmuid Hegarty. All 5 started the 2019 Munster Minor Final I’m pretty sure, so Clare have a live chance
