Think Feakle have a remote chance of making the knockouts but would need to beat Whitegate by a huge score next day out to pip Newmarket.
Broadford play Clarecastle in the other group of five and the loser will join Whitegate, Scariff and Smith O’Briens.
@Aristotle i don’t think there are semi finals. 2 down this year and next to reduce from 18 to 16 so assume two relegation finals.
Whitegate could, in theory; rest players ahead of their relegation game but you’d imagine there would be war in the parish if someone suggested lying down to Feakle
Top 2 from every group make the quarters?
Not a good year for Corofin.
All in on football I imagine. They had an isolated player move to a senior hurling club also and he is a big loss
Cian O’Dea?
Even still, they have some lively forwards, would have thought they’d be there or thereabouts.
They probably should have been. The Bridge are the third or fourth best intermediate side and Parteen are a top 4 side also. It’s a tough group
That isolated player rule is some joke when Corofin already have an intermediate hurling team.
He’s working as a GDA for his new hurling club, and he’s still playing his football for Kilfenora

Clondegad went for goal from a free at the death when a point would have given them second spot in the group
Kelly will have to go back playing to keep them up
They’re in the 1/4 final playoff spot. Doonbeg in the relegation mix
Eire Og, St Breckans, Corofin, Ennistymon, Cratloe, Lissycasey, Kilmurry-Ibrickane and the winners of Doora-Barefield vs Clondegad playoff make up the 1/4 finalists
Doonbeg, Kilmihil, Miltown Malbay in relegation playoff
When are these to be played do you know?
It should be football/hurling alternate weekends from here on in; with the football 1/4 final playoff and relegation semi on this weekend, hurling 1/4 finals the following weekend
