1-1 for Ballyea to open the second half, contentious looking TK penalty

C-Q struggling to win any ball up front against physically superior opponents

How is Conneally looking at centre back for C/Q?

Good first half, C-Q backs overrun in general second half

Ballyea have an absurdly large panel, they are picking from half the county. They had over 40 togged for a junior A game this year supposedly

Ballyea can draw on big-ballers from Clondegad, Cooraclare, Coolmeen, Lissycasey, Kilmihil, Shannon Gaels and Kildysart on a good weekend

How many of them are current or former inter county footballers? They are really a uniquely built team and very good at recruitment. Having TK there is a huge draw

From the starting team today Cillian Brennan (Clondegad), Aaron Griffin (Lissycasey), Cathal OConnor (Coolmeen) and Pearse Lillis (Cooraclare) are all Clare senior footballers, and not from ballyea. Martin OLeary (Kilmihil) came on and is a former Clare senior footballer. Obviously Gary Brennan has been a stalwart but not playing hurling this year. In fairness to them its not really recruitment as all have played with ballyea growing up, except maybe Cathal OConnor.

This O’Donnell lad is handy

They’re not even getting close to him, it’s embarrassing.

I/K are in disarray in general, a very unhappy camp all championship

I’ve been very disappointed with them. SOD is obviously class but it’s been awful defensively.

Nothing really from David Fitz bar the goal chance but he took at least 11 steps.

They have been fairly shite all year, it looks like most of them don’t want to be there

O’Donnell is having his way with them but he is getting plenty of room for the most part. The number 2 is a big unit for this level. He can’t have been too much hard training.
Inagh are way too lax at times. Poking at the ball with the hurley and losing possession when they would have been inside the back.
