Clare Gaa 🐐 Thread mark II

Once you finish minor your best days are behind you

This is major

Do Ahane play football or would he go with Monaleen?

They play junior, or did anyway

Its the next generation they are thinking about. If the kids end up with half of Niamhs hurling ability they will be good uns.

Well he’s not going to Ahane for the football anyway

Ahane had Ian Keatley, Tommy O’Donnell and Sean Cronin (married to another Mulcahy sister) playing junior football with them last year. Keatley is an excellent footballer, in fairness.

Do the Munster fans still go along to boo him?

Clare 1-11
Limerick 0-5

Very efficient display. Only one point from a dead ball, two wides and two dropped short. Cracking finish for the goal by Brian McNamara

Clare 1-16 Limerick 0-14

Be the Lord God but Estadio Mick Neville is a cold hoor of a place. Limerick came with a good rattle after halftime, and we found it very hard to get out of our own half for the first fifteen minutes or so, but we eventually rode it out and started winning a few breaks and getting up the field. They’re developing a bit of a habit of winning and they should have learned a fair bit about managing out a game tonight.

SOD is a fascinating character. The Buff always knew that Clare hurlers could go to the Moon.
