They played TK inside playing off Shanagher for a good shot of 2021 when SOD and Duggan were unavailable. He only played out the field in the defeat v Cork in the qualifiers. So they may be looking at it again. Given Taylor’s lack of form I think TK may well have to play out the field to carry and deliver ball

You can forget about Clare.
Winning a classic All-Ireland right at the start of your career and then toiling for a long time before slowly building back to the summit to win another classic All-Ireland over a decade later is a very satisfying way to spend a career.

Might be the end of him in a Clare jersey? Seems he has other and bigger things and plans on his mind with his professional and personal life and you’d sort of get the impression he was only going to tog out this year as they are reigning champions and he’s the reigning HOTY.

He’s a massive loss but they won the AI without him on the pitch. It’s worth remembering that they have Kelly, Rodgers, Fitzgerald and Duggan in the forwards without him.
Below them you have the likes of Reidy and McCarthy. Solid players. I really like Crotty, and Meehan has talent.

Clare were one of the oldest ever All Ireland winning teams last year. Think it was something like 10 of the starting 15 in the All Ireland Final had turned 30. They put in a few tough years before they finally won it in 2024 as well.
The outcome of first game against Cork in Ennis will most likely set the tone of their season.
Sticking his arms up in the air looking for frees all the time was bound to affect his shoulders sooner or later.
