Is Deasy really good enough? Is his hurling sharp enough?
Who knows. He has come on leaps and bounds this year after a couple of years of being blighted with hamstring injuries. The management had a lot of time for him at under 21 level in 2015 but he couldn’t stay fit.
His club form makes him more than deserving of an opportunity. Whether he makes it or not is another question.
Worth a shot, I suppose, could offer something different.
