Clare will name their team tonight for Saturday’s National Hurling League opener against Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn.

I always thought it was stupid for players to sit out county games due to still being involved in club competition. Fair play to Clare for using a common sense approach and bucking this trend.
I assume they will play this weekend and next weekend against Kilkenny and then go back to concentrating on the Club A/I.
