Clare GAA Thread 🐐
For whom it may concern the Clare V Waterford Waterford Crystal Cup final has been moved to Ogonnolloe this coming sunday throw in 2 p.m…

Clare take on Waterford in a challenge match in Cahir saturday, so all the panel should get a a decent bit of game time at the weekend…Team for the final won’t be named til before the match…

My selection:
Brennan
McMahon-Dillon-GOG
Donnellan-Quinn-Hawes
Bugler-Hassett
Conlon-Griffin-Carmody
Ryan-Morey-Gilligan
For anyone who’s interested, Clare are actually playing Tipperary in the final of this competition.

Please do not allow Puke to convince you otherwise.

One change to the team named above…Colin Ryan started ahead of Caimin Morey…Great win yesterday, showed a lot of hunger, half backline cleaned up and played with plenty of physicality…Bit too hung over to get into details but will later on

On the Banner to fuck…

Consistently the best January hurling team in Ireland. Well done Clare.

I strongly fancy Clare to win the Waterford Crystal Trophy this year.

Eh, they did.

Ooops, I thought yesterday was the semi.

One trophy already in the bag for the bannermen

The bonfires were burning last night on the bridge I’d say.

“Clare beat Tipp to win Waterford Crystal Cup”

No-one can see us coming. We’ve coming like a train. Like a TRAIN !
The treble is still on.

Yours etc,
GSH.

I’d imagine puke is nursing a very sore hangover.

Week long bender is what I heard

Think ye’ve shown the hand too early though GSH? Element of surprise been diluted?

Mickey Mouse trophys sure. Louth winning the O’Byrne cup shows just how much these January trophys mean.

Time will tell sure…

Just happy to see Clare playing well and everyone 100% committed…

Just because ye’ve never won the fucking thing!

By the time we’re half way through the league it wont matter a fuck who won it. If its not good enough for a legend like Mick O’Dwyer, its not good enough for me.

This year the plan is to peak in January and then hold that level of skill, fitness and enthusiasm until September or April. Whichever comes first.

Yours etc,
GSH.

Well done on the win yesterday. It was easy to see that Clare had a lot more done than Tipp. Tipp were actually away in a training camp in Offaly on Friday and Saturday so that might explain the fatigue in the second half

Some great performances by Gerry O Grady, Gerry Quinn, Carmody and Colin Ryan. Colin Ryan has developed a lot since I saw him last.

Full back line was our only line to do well. Seamus Hennessy started well, has lovely hands but limited mobility. Bonnar Maher stuck his goal well but his time has not come yet. Noel Mac took his score well. Im sure we will see more from him this year further out the field.

Terrible performances from Benny, Festy, Woody and P Kelly. With improved accuracy Hugh Moloney might do on the 40. Lots of catching up to do

Micko’s won it on a few occasions.
