Will any of the footballers come back to the hurling fold? I donât like Cadoganâs antics on a GAA pitch (mouthing off, cheap digs etc) but someone like him or Cahalane could possibly have got in OâDonnellâs face and stopped his influence.
Aidan Walsh seems to have nailed his colours to the football set-up. Iâve only ever seen him play hurling once in the flesh - 2011 Munster u-21 final - but any lad who can pluck puck-outs from the air like that has to be considered a loss if unavailable.
Paudie OâSullivan will be a big addition when he is back.
I wouldnât see anyone moving over. Cadogan the least likely.
Paudie is over rated as a loss IMO. Another option, but heâs talked about like an elite player but I think heâs below that level.
Itâs youth where a new player will come from, but I think itâs improving what we have.
Fucking hell, youâve not taken the defeat too well. They just won an All-Ireland, let them celebrate it and be as OTT as theyâd like.
It was a great championship, of which Cork and JBM played a major part, but youâre not coming across well with some of things said on here to be honest.
Shane O Neill is a perfect example, going on to have blunders after yellows. Dave McInerney as well. And they play in much more restrintive positions than that clown O Dwyer.
Case closed.
What? Shane OâNeill should have been sent off about 3 times for worse offences than OâDwyer Whatâs your point? And yet you sing his praises and call OâDwyer a clown?
Iâll have to disagree with you there Glas. Munster is a dog fight and on any given day every side can beat each other. Avoiding a Munster quarter final draw is all I hope for from Thursdayâs draw. Shortest route possible = less chance of slipping up. Wexford nearly took Clare out in a qualifier a few weeks ago.
The run of games certainly did help Clare this summer, they built momentum up but they are deserved champions.
We need games to improve and have suffered from the lack the last two seasons. The more games we get the more this team will improve. Iâd prefer to see more games to be honest.
as i´ve always said kevâŚdublin are an honest team but still lack the cuteness and skillâŚespecially in defenceâŚbut they are slowly learningâŚClare would have hammered them in thinkâŚ

I find it unlikely to believe any sane Clare person will give a flying fuck what some cork fella in australia thinks about them over the coming weeks.

This is nothing to do with losing. This is something we have all been aware of for years. They deserves to win, and of course they deserve to celebrate it. But just like the last resurgence they start thinking they have invented hurling with all this âgreatest team everâ âonly oneCork player would make Clare teamâ âmost skillful team ever to win All Irelandâ etc. they have a 3-in-a-row sown up. I am in record here saying way back Iâd rather lose to the Dubs or Limerick than Clare in a Final as they are an insufferable lot. This was way before they played the finals. Iâm not sure how much socializing you may have done in the 95-99 era but it was fucking painful to talk hurling to them.
. You look at it completely from the armchair.

don´t tell me you squeeze in a quick work out in the living room while you watch the game kev?..the consumate professionalâŚhow does it work? benchpress the armchair, then a few dips, press ups on the solid oak??..you´re working a different level to us palâŚ

Well apart from gobdaws like tan.
Knowing Clare people theyâll be a little but more comfortable with me giving them a hard time an keeping their feet on the ground than theyâll ever be with some Laois has-bee. Sticking his tongue up their arse crack.
Youâve done it already. You always seem to forget the original point you made or dig you had. You drinking hard again?
This along with your delusion that the whole country is in here reading your musings and you were single handily keeping a lid on Dublins football expectations.
You should go back and read it. I said after a yellow is got a player needs to watch himself. Cork and Clare players adjusted well. Dwyer didnât. Neither did Sheflin and his tackle was nearly as brain dead as Dwyer. Dwyer has history of stupidity and is a dangerous liability for Dublin. Cork would have probably win anyway, but he killed Dublin.
