Donât agree. Now some of it is natural speed attributes that Clare had an advantage in, but to me Cork look like a team who did a lot of longer type running. Their speed off the mark and their general strength and power, acceleration and ability to break the tackle was below Clareâs. As I say some is natural advantages, but I think Cork ignore certain important areas of fitness. Particularly strength and acceleration. They said this year was the first they really concentrated on strength, so the fruits of that may be a bit away. Aerobically Cork were superior to anyone, but Clare had a better balance to their fitness.
Kev is stage 11 rattled.
Clare were far better proprioceptorally due to climbing Carrauntoohil at 3am.
Weak and a cop out.
Poor Kev just canât get his head around the fact that Clare have better hurlers than Cork. Every aspect of his belief system is in tatters.
As youâd say yourself, Kev, âyou just donât get itâ.
Iâd like to see @Sidney respond to this revelation. What were you doing for those 20 minutes? What? Tell us. Fucking tell us.

I want Kevin to provide a full list of what my alleged internet movements were, complete with times etc. It shouldnât be difficult for him as he clearly has the time on his hands to compile such a dossier.
That was an amazing game to be at yesterday, and a fitting culmination to what has been the best championship in my memory. Congrats to Clare, undoubtedly worthy champions. Itâs frightening to think how young most of their players are. It will be most interesting to see how they develop over the next number of years - undoubtedly there is the potential for them to be a truly great team.
From a Cork point of view, we got much more out of the season than I certainly thought we would. After the way Clare obliterated us in the second half and extra time of the relegation play-off (horrendous amount of wides they shot apart) and indeed the second half of the earlier league game, I expected them to beat us in Munster and a QF would be the best we would do. To get to within 20 seconds of winning the thing out, bringing down the Kilkenny beast along the way, certainly wasnât within my expectations. I actually fancied us to win it yesterday when we got back level, weâd been on top for the bones of 25 minutes at that stage. Harnedy undoubtedly the best thing to come out of the year for us, a real gem of a player and excellent again yesterday. It will probably be an even bigger challenge to sustain it next year and find the necessary bit of improvement with presumably the same set of players, plus PĂĄidĂ Sul. Canât help but feel that this year was the best chance we will have for a few years, seriously hope they prove me wrong again.
McGraths goal was absolutely unbelievable, it really sickened Cork, unbelievable score
While OâDonnell got 3-3 and was deserved MOTM I thought Conor McGrath was excellent throughout yesterday both with ball him hand and without. Worked like a dog all day, second half when Cork were on top he won two or three balls he had no right to win to relieve the pressure. Not to mention his outstanding goal. Great display by him

Of course they are. They are All Ireland champions. No argument. The best team always wins in the end.

All-Ireland Senior Hurling Champions 2013!
Woohoo[/quote]
Congrats.
Just after realising watching the match back here that Cork scored their last point in the 52nd minute
McGrathâs goal and Kelly point 30 seconds later. Poetry in motion:clap:
You may or may not be happy to know I was waving a Clare flag on the dance floor of Costellos last night, pal. Flan was in great spirits on the door.
Yeah, that was the end of the period where we outscored by nine points to one. Only got the two goals after that, but missed a few chances around that point. They were only going for goals in the last at least five minutes though.
Cyril Farrell is a gas cunt:D
He is a national treasure.
