Rattled stage 4:clap:

You read back on Donegal, Cork, Armagh, Dublin or Galway and the stories and way the people speak about the celebrations. Bring the cup to this person and that person thanking all the people who helped along the way etc. all Clare seem to do is bad mouth other teams, have poorly disguised shots at other teams, mock the team they beat in final. How many in a row will we win, we’re the best All Ireland winning team ever. The manager is spending the week shouting “me me me me me, look at me”. It’s truly amazing.
Jim McGuinness used the post-match press-conference after the 2012 final to victimise a journalist who was doing his job.

Galway footballers allowed the Sam Maguire Cup to be kicked around the streets of Tuam, resulting in it being cracked.

anyone at the game in Sixmilebridge? Seems that Shane O’Donnell got the full rockstar treatment.

I think Ger is the one that’s rattled here. His county win an All Ireland for the first time in 16 years and while he should be celebrating he makes a dig about Tipperary disappearing.

Felt to me as though he was asking the Clare team to use Tipperary as a cautionary tale. As all people should.

Stand corrected. Donegal scratched. Cuntish.

2nd one, more than ok. Mid level jinks.

Stage 3 rattled
It’s like old times

How long before we hear from Liz Howard

Clare winning makes Ger L happy as a Clare man but at another level it reduces his status as a Clare legend as another manager has joined the club and more recently.

Ah yea, that’ll worry him greatly I’d say. You could see how disappointed he was last Saturday night.

Never underestimate the pig ignorant egotistical nature of some people.

The man couldnt stop smiling and laughing all the way through the broadcast ffs. He came close to death, I’d say ego is the furthest thing from his mind right about now.

Ger was in powerful form on Clare FM, to the victor the spoils

All sportsmen are like that - in private he will have seen his legacy eroded - the only Clare manager to win an All-Ireland as manager.

it will be a dark winter for Ger as he ponders it all

Close?

Loughnane’s legacy will never be eroded. It’s only a matter of time before he has a stand in Cusack Park or at least the block of toilets behind the scoreboard end named after him.

Loughnane is a once in a lifetime character. He dragged Clare from the hurling wilderness with his absolute passion for hurling and his county.

For those who know anything about the journey of the game of hurling, his legacy will never be eroded no matter how many All Irelands Clare win.
