They played 7 backs. One of the small lads was back there all day.
No they didnât. you are talking utter cock. Please stop. Clare played 6 v 6 at the back. They played Honan isolated at full forward with Podge and McGrath in the corners playing wide and 30 odd yards from goal. Half forward line was Ryan-Kelly-Conlon(Cunningham) for the first 50 minutes with Nickey and Colm Galvin as orthodox midfielders.
They did.
Clare people have an unbelievable ability for loose talk. Griffen on about next year and the year after.
There is absolutely no certainty Clare will dominate anything. Itâs a small county with a relatively small pick. A few injuries or somebody going traveling or whatever could throw them off big style. Itâs all about the here and now.
In fairness they have by far and away the youngest panel of any team in the country, itâs not a bold leap to suggest that they will improve or at the least be around for a few years. In any event is was a kind of âpressure offâ comment.
If I was Davy Iâd be fuming. Ex players saying things like that. A lot of Clare people in the media this week. They are talking themselves up big time.
You donât want your team having any thoughts beyond Saturday. It can be east for young lads to drop off ever so slightly âah we will be there every yearâ.
Iâm sure none or little of them read this dribble.
Cian Mac has zero pace, that is his only problem but it is an insurmountable one.
Ticket situation in Clare very strange, many who went the last day still without ?
Fella told me that his club in Cork hadnât gotten their tickets yet as at this lunchtime so maybe delay in getting em out. Will be no shortage at all
Got mine through a Klare club yesterday evening.
here is the problem, hairy galway goats getting clare tickets. which club??
Clare will walk this.
what is the actual nature of Harnedyâs injury? Very little details re the specific nature of his injury amongst the reports that he is doubtful
Was offered 4 today
Load of bollicks
No ticket shortage as far as I can see. I have 6 for 307 in the Cusack.
No injury at all so ?? JBM doesnât usually engage in that kind of putting out tales of injuries that donât exist type carry on.
The Clare lads must be a bit slow
I got offered a pair of tickets from a friend of mine living in Galway, but Iâm caught with work on Saturday.
On Newstalk this evening a text from a Clare follower was read out. Said his club got 500 tickets for drawn game and only 350 for replay. Gizzy and Wolberto just couldnât figure out why 150 less. I have never heard of a club getting 500 tickets for an All Ireland. Gizzy and Wolberto didnât pick up on this. Surely one club wouldnât get 500 tickets?
Thereâs no curtain-raiser, so how indeed could a club get less tickets?
