Cooraclare brought Kilmurrey Ilbrikane winning streak in clare to an end at the weekend by beating them in the Cusack Cup final, is this the beginning of the end for the roasters from Mullagh and Cree…Well done Cooraclare they have made serious strides this year…
Broadford qualified for the semi’s of the Clare Cup, while Whitegate grabbed the second promotion place from 2a to division 1…
Cree is part of Cooraclare parish you mong.
Am heading back to the old country tonight to see if this was a total once off or are there problems in the camp.

Does this mean that Toomevarra are out of the Tipperary hurling championships?,i could never folly this divisional carry on…
Previously you had the four divisions, the divisional finalists all went forward to the Co Quarter Finals ie winners of the Mid played losers of the West etc. This was quite straight forward, they then brought in relegation, which left only 5 teams in West Tipp and 4 in South Tipp.
Toome are still there. They won a county title one year after getting to the Co. Quarter Final by winning the North League, at the time North league winners played of against North Championship runners-up to see who played Co Quarters!
I would well believe it, it is a very small vilage to drive through…Would Garrykennedy(fuck all there as well) be part of the hurling club or are they Burgess I wounder…
Portroe / Burgess would be near enough to Borrisokane wouldn’t it?
I know it’s a cesspit anyway.
Burgess would be on the outskirts of nenagh on the limerick side and would take in the likes of Newtown and yellowbridge…Portrue would be between Ballina and Newtown, if you were going the backroad to borrisokane you would go through them
Don’t know much about them to be honest with you Puke, Toomevara only had half a team out. Nice achievement for them though, first ever North Final.
I’d say Garrykennedy would be in Portroe parish.
Nemo Rangers are finally beaten in the Cork County championship. A star studded Carbery team beat them 2-11 to 1-09 in front of a huge crowd in Bandon tonight.
Wasn’t a brilliant game overall, and you’d struggle to pick out the 6 Cork senior panalists there, but in alot of cases they were blotting each other out.
Graham Canty was the difference when he was moved to centre forward for Carbery in the 2nd half.
The Cork Senior semi finals are as follows.
Carbery verses St. Finbarrs
Bishopstown verses Clonakilty
Expect a Carbery-Clon West Cork derby for the final.

kev, is that the finbarrs team that were relegated to inter only a year or two ago?or was taht hurling tehy got relegated in?..
Any of the limerick lads know who won between Ahane and Adare last night?
Round three of the Clare hurling championship is down for next week, most of the teams who have players on the 21’s panel are going to play on the thursday and friday night to give the 21’s a clear week to prepare for the A/I semi final…Although, Clonlara v the mills and The Bridge v Broadford are going to be on the saturday…Bring on them dirth Mills cunts to fuck:pint:
Ya thats them. Won Inter at first go, going for 2-in-a-row U-21 counties (have 3 in-a-row Cities) and have won 2 of last 3 Minor counties. Its some turnaround for them.
I didn’t, I had Nemo by 2. Fuck it anyways.
Carberry V Clon would be a savage final wouldn’t it? In terms of rivalry anyways. Spent a few weekends down that way in both towns.
Adare thumped Ahane 0-20 to 0-09
Emmets beat Claughan handy as well.
Well Clon is in the Division of Carbery. They are just Senior in their own right. There is 9 Senior teams from Carbery. This is the divisional side that is made up of Junior and Intermediate clubs. Bantry were relegated last year so that makes Canty eligable. The Carbery Junior Championship would be as strong as most Intermediate Championships around the country.
The Carbery you are thinking of is Rosscarbery, and they are Carbery Rangers as a Football club, and Senior as well. Kevin MacMahons club.
It would be a huge final. Of course so would the other opposite final, Bishopstown verses the Barrs, many of the Barrs players would have gone to school and lived in Bishopstown.
