Club Championships 2010

He wasn’t the last day I saw them play anyways, but that’s not to say he won’t be.

indeed they nearly lost a few good men to a nice pub in west clare.

Results from Limerick tonight:

St Kierans 0-16 Claughan 0-3 - diabolical stuff. Kierans were very accurate though.

Monaleen V Drom - DRAW

How are Askeaton going this year Runty??

Hard to know Dunph, the junior hurling hasn’t started yet.

No i mean in the football. I was talking to a fella last week who was saying Askeaton would do well to stay Senior this year…

The senior football is very competitive alright Dunph, a couple of poor results in the first round and you’d be on the back foot straight away. From what I saw tonight though Claughan would have to be favourites for the drop, although they were missing a good few but tonight would have been their best chance of picking up a win

What is your opinion of the intermediate championship, coming from a member of a club that was plying its trade there only two years ago? I suppose you’ll have the usual big names contesting the title such as Croom, Athea and Oola…

You’d have to fancy Na Piarsaig to go one better this year. you’ll have the usual Croom, Galbally and Mungret to push them.

I may have been mis-informed earlier as I have read elsewhere that Drom beat Monaleen handy enough.

Fuck sake, I text a few people to tell them it was a draw.

Apologies Bandage, please file complaints that a-way

+1

And now i’ve to make some grovelling apologies…

Full results from last nights action in Limerick:

Live 95fm County SFC Group 1
Dromcollogher/Broadford 0-13 Monaleen 0-7
St. Kierans 0-16 Claughaun 0-3

Live 95fm County SFC Group 2
Fr. Caseys 1-8 Adare 2-6
St. Senans 2-7 Pallasgreen 1-9

Griffin Coaches IFC Group 2
Croom 2-6 Galbally 1-9

Adare beating Caseys is the shock of the centuary although since my initial post yesterday I heard that there have been a lot of ructions in the Fr Caseys camp over the past few weeks.

Another bit of a surprise last night as Ballylanders beat NCW 0-13 to 0-11.
It’s far from the first time Newcastle have been flying in March/April but failed to win their first game. That group is thrown wide open now. It will be very interesting to see how it pans out.

On the last game of the weekend Powers go : Ballysteen 1/2 St Pats 15/8

Ballysteen are unbackable at that price.

How did the match go??

The 'Steen scraped through by a point. Much the better team but made life difficult for themselves.
