Club Championships 2010

Result: 1-9 to 0-5

A team with the 2 Brogans only scores 5 points? WTF???

In Cork, Carbery Rangers gave the performance of the championship coming from 9 points down to beat Douglas 3-12 to 1-08, an awful trouncing in the end. They have 2 Cork seniors in the forwards, one Cork Minor and one Cork U-21 as well, serious forwards. They play the Barrs in the semi next week, while Nemo play Clon tomorrow in the other semi.

Hurling finals tomorrow, Prem. Intermediate & Senior, 2 crackers, can’t wait.

Looking forward to them alright. Unfortunately I suspect the Glen/Sars game will be a damp squib.

WE ARE CAMOGUE ROVERS. WE’LL NEVER DIE. SOUTH CHAMPIONS 2010.

Portumna beating Loughrea by 1-7 to 0-4 @ HT in what has been a stop start lackluster semi Final. There is an undercurrent of tension in the game that with a bit of luck will boil over in the 2nd half to outright flakin’. JC on a yellow for ‘getting to know’ fellow County panel member Damien McLeary.
The winners will play Clarenbridge who comfortably had Teenagh’s measure in the first semi.

Carrickshock beat Comer in the Kilkenny semi-final.
They await the winners of Ballyhale and Loughlins

Hon the Shocks.

Camross trail at half time here in Portlaoise at Laois County Hurling Final. They’ve already won the Intermediate hurling. Portlaoise are in the Intermediate and Senior Football Finals. I believe we will have doubles in both.

Goal for Loughrea, Johnny Coen 20 goals with a 20 meter free

Still 1-12 to 1-8 in Port’s favour heading into the last 5 minutes

Askeaton march on in their quest for intermediate hurling disposing of Crecora by 2 points, Askeaton were 8 points down just before the break, a goal in the last 2 minutes to take the victory.

GOOAAAAAALLLLLLL

Loughrea 2-8 Portumna 1-13

In added time,

Goal for Camross. 1-7 to 1-6 to Rathdowney Errill. Game on Ger.

All square in Kenny Park!! 3 minutes into injury time

Loughrea lead!!! :o :o :o

Free in to Port!!!

JC lands the free. The game ends in a draw. Loughrea incensed with referee.

Johnny o Loughlin landed a sideline to give Loughrea a one point lead 3 minutes into injury time. The ball goes up the field from the puck out and a melee ensues. The crowd anticipate the ref will throws it in but instead he awards Portumna a free in. 5 minutes of injury time played and counting. Joe Canning scores from the free to make sure Portumna remain unbeaten in Galway since 2006. Dramatic finish to a shit game. Loughrea hound the referee in scenes reminiscant of the 2009 County semi Final at the same venue between themselves and Mullagh. Christy Helibert is pissing his hole laughing back in Ballindeereen

Vincents 2 points down against Crokes in Dublin semi final. They were 8 down at one stage but have clawed themselves back into it. Two minutes left.

One down now.

Crokes win by a point. They were hanging on for dear life though.
