I’m delayed. But was just about to post if Bally manage to get an unlikely goal there would be only 1 winner. Better team since h-t
Aidan Walsh has never managed to get his head right. No leadership skills at all
Kanturk playing a sweeper and belting ball down on top of 5 man Ballyraggert 1/2 back line who have 5 back all the time

Are you heading for a few pints?
We’re they no.'s 5, 9 & 10 was it?
Darren Brown is a fine player. Very consistant. Was up against a few good lads today and beat them all eventually
How does it go? Just in the door from Croke Park…
Fuck it but that was cruel. Horribly cruel. It was over, up by a point in injury time, the ref calls for 2 minutes. 2 minutes go, still up. We win a free on our 45 with 71.40 on the clock. Ball goes down the field and knocks about for another minute. Ref gives a free out, 73 on the clock. But no, he keeps going. Another 30 seconds and the ball breaks and Ardmore score, level game, full time whistle, a minute and 40 added onto injury time. If that sounds sour grapes, fuck it. These things never come around and to be there and have it taken away is sickening.
Credit both teams, they fought hard. But both played way below their capabilities. I don’t know if it was nervousness or the pitch, but it was scrappy enough and from video of Ardmore and seeing our lads, both have played far better in earlier rounds. We let in 2 awfully sloppy goals, really poor stuff. But fought back really well to go ahead in normal time. I thought we’d won it, I really did. Absolutely gut wrenching.
On a side note, bringing 3 kids under 5 to a game with a 2 and a half hour travel time is some craic!
Hard luck, pal.
Tough to lose it, but fuck it, great to get to see your club make it to the big show, regardless.
Yeah it was the one thing that’ll never leave the kids anyway, their first ever trip to Croke Park was to watch their club play there. Not often it happens, just sickening to lose when you’re so close. I’d nearly prefer to be hammered, when it’s so close it’s always the what ifs and could have beens. There is a positive to that too of course, but that will take time to digest first
Corner back with green helmet paul. Ryan 9 and Ian 10 yeah. Two younger lads are tough as murder
