All set up for big north cork derby kanturk v newtown first round senior clash. Newtown in turmoil with players moving to bitter rivals charleville. Kanturk will be hot favourites. Unthinkable a few years back.

Just saw the brief highlights on TG4.

Losing by 3-11 to 0-18 when you literally handed them the first two goals on a plate must have been a sickener.

Yeah that didn’t help either. But we fought back from those 2 blips to go ahead. Watched the game back today. Can’t understand why the ref didn’t blow full time. Very hard to take. But sure, have to look at the positives, I suppose, ya know. Great experience to get there and it’s a very young team. Hopefully they can push on now in the hurling and football this year

Fantastic score. Off balance and got enough on it to make to distance and accuracy. Once in a lifetime score considering what was at stake.

More cut than Aidan.

I like the cut of Browne. If he is an IC player or not hurling wise I can’t say yet as only say a bit of him 21’s. But he has alot of the imponderables
