Why would it be a foul? Did he drop the stick deliberately

He graduated this year ?

Unsure of whether you can still or ever could, solo a sliothar.

Some refs blow it up for a foul, some don’t. I don’t think there’s anything in the rule book about it

I’d never have thought it was a foul until someone questioned it with me this morning. Be criminal to blow that back.

And some refs would still blow it up? Just because it offends their sense or what!

You’d never be allowed do that football shite in Kilkenny. No fucking way pal.

I have no idea why if it’s not in the rule book but it’s probably because they don’t know the rules

Technical Fouls…
4.7 To release the ball with the hand and catch it without playing it with the hurley.

Probably a foul under that wording. But hey, what a sidestep!

Quite possibly, I was wondering that alright

I know one of the fellas he left for dead, won’t live it down for a while :grinning:

laois tv ! That’s fuckin hilarious ! A clever ploy to show the natives exactly why their county teams stink out the joint perhaps?..but I do admire your personal crusade on here to keep the county relevant pal…tell us about '96 again. .go on…

Is it not just too many steps? The football solo hardly counts as a solo?

Hilarious mate. I bet you couldn’t barely type as you laughed to yourself, it’s amazing you were able to manage to type all your usual illiterate full stops as you wiped away the tears from laughing.

Will there be a Sunday game type programme on laois tv pal?? You’d surely get a gig with your knowledge… on a follow on from the sky sports themed dressing room setting you could report from your basement? Scatter a few of your now wooden socks on the ground etc…

Sportsjoe and Laois hurling? Nah you’re grand, thanks.

It’s a foul for over carrying. You can solo it if you want but it doesn’t reset your steps as it is not a legal solo in Hurling
