Michelle is an Ardboe woman, isnât she?
From Clonoe originally.
What is it, one title from those 9 semi finals? A golden generation of players, almost a poor return all told.
Yip, doubt this group will ever get over the line again either. Team lacks balance and real unity. Some of the management appointments in that time have been suspect too. Twouldnât take much to take this group of players to a county semi final but they just seem to be outworked or outwitted when it comes to big day all too often unfortunately.
That last line would suggest youâre right when it comes to Management being a major problem. Disappointing to hear.
2009 was the one that they left behind. Madden puts that ball across the 21 and Clonlara probably win.
Left it behind them in the drawn game last year too.
Moving to a Dublin/Kildare club I think.
Nass I presume?
Athy I thought was the club he trained with previously and where his missus is from?
Heâll fit right in
Iâm not saying it is Athy where he is going to now but he has/had a connection with the club
Teams for tonightâs blockbuster in the Tyrone championship between the 2015 champions and last yearâs finalists.
Itâs currently 0-2 apiece.

Tonightâs blockbuster ended in a 1-10 to 0-13 draw.
The most competitive club championship on the island.
Unreal.
What a match.
What a competition.
Unstoppable force versus immovable object.
A great listen here
4 minutes of injury time from Clones yesterday where Scotstown hit 2-2 without reply to force a replay in their semi-final clash with Ballybay.
Kerry hurling championship finalists decided yesterday.
Lixnaw beat Ardfert by two after over turning a 4 point deficit late in the second half. Ardfert had a man sent off after a word from the umpire. The umpire was the only one who saw the incident, no one else at the game had a clue what it was for including the players involved. Ardfert went mental and completely lost the heads and it cost them ultimately. He also blew it up at least two minutes early and had to be escorted from the field afterwards to a cacophony of booâs and insults.
In the other semi final Kilmoyleyâs quest for 3 in a row was stopped by Ballyduff, in a very physical scrappy game. Kilmoyley were 6 up at half time with a slight breeze at their backs but they never came out in the second half and Ballyduff just had that extra bit of âhungerâ and ran out well deserved winners by 4 in the end.
Kilmoyleyâs win last year tied them with Bâduff at 24 all in the championships scoreboard so the Duffers will be out to regain their title as Kerryâs no. 1 again, but Lixnaw will give them plenty of it. Both Lixnaw & Kilmoyley having come through the winners side were coming off the back of unnecessarily long breaks since their last game, 7 weeks I think in the case of Lixnaw. So theyâll be a lot sharper the next day out Iâd imagine. Should be a cracker.
As an aside one of BâDuffâs main men (and Kerry player) Mikey Boyle was sent off in the previous round for launching a verbal tirade at the referee. The Duffers got the ban thrown out by using video evidence that the referee had his back turned to Boyle when the abuse was being roared and that it wasnât Boyle at all, it was âsomeone elseâ though no names were offered. The fact that everyone in attendance at the game, including presumably several county board officials themselves, knew it was of course Boyle that abused the referee counted for nought.
