Club Championships 2017

This Offaly final is a good laugh. Lots of big hits.

Ger Healion is a great bit of stuff.

Another massive shoulder, brilliant stuff!

Tomas still playing senior?

Word today is yesterdays decisions have made up CB’s minds. And if they want to make a change it will happen.
They will have alot of support in fairness.

Obly thing that might work is divisions have to do without county players. I think thats fair.

I think championship should be abandoned till aug now completely.
Have league finished by July, no county player allowed play and have straight knock out. Teams can start training later as well.

Yes. Playing better this year. Much fitter. Think he was taken aback by the fitness levels at club and had eased off. He was destroyed last year a few times and being fair should have been dropped. But big improveme t now.

Nemo-Barrs Final. Fucking Great to have it back

Its just unworkable now. Duhallow in action today with only one kanturk player as they won inter football semi final yday. Two duhallow junior finalists also played yesterday as did newmarket who would have been senior in own right few seasons back. Inpossible to prepare when you dont know who you will have til morning of game

Lads playing premier intermediate have no business playing with divisions. If divisions could only select intermediate a downwards, id be happy for them to remain.

Ya its a pretty high level now and huge commitment.

The population bases seem to really be levelling out now.
Senior being dominated by the big City and suburban areas.
Premier Intermediate and Intermediate being dominated by the towns.

Junior also seems to have adjusted and now very competitive and a return to high standard and with small county sides.

County board do deserve credit for some recent decisions. Painfully slow though.

Portlaoise defeat Carlow side Graiguecullen to reach the county final 1-12 to 0-08.

Alright mental head case and firmly in the 'RA sorts Ballylinan have beaten Dublin suburb Portarlington in a cracker, 4-10 to 3-8 to win the right to take on the townie cunts.

Hon Gary ‘I am Psycho’ Walsh and his boys

there’ll be about 300 people at the game
was the 93 or 94 final also a drab nemo barrs affair? 0-9 to 0-8 maybe to Nemo in the Park
city clubs have no following at all
even the other night there i think it was kilmacud and someone else on eir sport, the scores didnt even rasie a cheer, i understand kilmacud as its like say castleknock , its just a blow ins club, Nemo are different i suppose as they just pillage all around them,
i remember when mick daly joined them at the end of his career just so he could win an all ireland club medal after playing all his life with cobh, totally different concept of a “club”

Some second half in the Offaly semi-final; cracking atmosphere.

A late goal for Errigal sees them past Pomeroy.

They will now face Omagh in the final. Hard to see past Omagh.

Three unanswered injury time points for Mount Leinster Rangers see them dethrone 4 in a row chasing St Mullins in the second of the Carlow SHC semi finals. 1-18 to 1-15 in an excellent (albeit tough and uncompromising) match for once without the off the ball antics and serious foul play that all too often mar this fixture. Having the strong hand of one of the top referees in the game, Wexford man Paud O’Dwyer was a definite help in that regard.

Mount Leinster Rangers v Myshall final.

Camross should handle either of them

A Camross v Myshall clash would split Coillte down the middle.
