If the biggest club in Tipperary doesn’t have supporters that doesn’t say much for the interest in club hurling

It was a test match for the prestigious Tom Semple Cup

New pitches on the outskirts of towns can be cold and soulless places.

This place looks to be that way too.

It doesn’t say much for the interest in club hurling in Thurles and that’s all it says

Thurles is the home of the GAA and the home of hurdling

If there’s no interest there, there’s no future for club hurling

Sars are a bit insular in that it’s a small number of families who’ve been running the club forever and if your not part of the ‘clique’ then you aren’t likely to go out of your way to support them

Is it true ye needed to avoid being beaten by more than 5 points and went for goals from 2 frees in injury time and lost by 6 :rofl:

We felt it would be better for the game of hurling as a whole to let our neighbours go through with their first team

Doesn’t look to be from a puck out?

Two scores there. First was Enda’s puck out that landed in the Clough Ballacolla square and bounced over

The second was a pass to Camross goalie and Laois sub goalie Thomas Dunphy who fired over from inside his own 21 yard line.

2nd score was more impressive. Some strike

Ah I see, cheers👍

Joachim Kelly was struck by his own Coolderry player during/after a challenge game last week by all accounts.
