Are Na Piarsaigh for Munster at 4/5 a terrible price?
Minus The Dow, Boylan and Lynch now for the Limerick Final. Will Peter Casey be back?

Casey will be back but itâs still not a very good price for Munster as youâd imagine Ballygunner will be strong again.
The Well could beat them but theyâll need to be clinical. Theyâve a strong forward line but the full-back line can be got at.
Cratloe at 40/1 is an interesting proposition. Would have a decent chance if they lose the football semi final to KIB. I think they will beat Sixmilebridge as they will have too much firepower for them if they meet in the final. Full backline might be their undoing but they are full of mobile skillful hurlers if the weather stays any way alright and if they get a clear run of it will take beating.
Ballygunner in Ennis would be a 50/50 game but NAP might well be too physical for them. But 40/1 is value
I disagree. Connolly played u21 hurling for Dublin and was pretty anonymous. He played senior club for Vins for years and was a slightly above average club player. Kilkenny was a brilliant under age player. As @Ashman correctly says he wasnât the tidiest but was a great striker and fielder of the ball and also had huge physical attributes that he obviously still has
I think Ballygunner will find it very difficult to take the Clare Champions away in first round.
If they get over that theyâve to play Limerick Champs.
I think it might be Sixmilebridges year.
Ballyhale will win the all Ireland club
My Ballyhale source has told me TJ is injured. Not sure how bad, but he is not 100% anyway. I think they will struggle to win Kilkenny to be honest, never mind an All Ireland
I would fancy them to win Kk without TJ . The other teams arenât great as can be seen from Ballyhale gap years . That said a break would do their players the world of good .
OâHalloran, then chairman of the countyâs CCC, said to Neilis that he would be sending him âto ride Slane in a month or soâ.
Ladybird this for me please.
Ride Slane?
What does that mean?
Throw him in the river?
Maybe OâHalloran is a pimp?
Slane pissed the Chairman off at some meeting or other. After said meeting, chairman sent a text to the head of the CCC who was also a referee, saying that that he would be sending him âto ride Slane in a month or soâ.
Head of CCC in shock, didnât reply immediately. Followed up a few weeks later asking when he was required to go to Slane in the hope that the initial text was not meant. The response was âin May or June when things die downâ.
OâHalloran and Neilis have confirmed the request was never carried out and OâHalloran said in a statement last week that he sent it in the âheat of the momentâ, adding it was a âbad callâ that he âdeeply regrettedâ. He had been Meath chairman since December 2017.
Cuala at their best would beat Ballyhale at their best I think
Iâd say heâd do as good a job if not better than Costello, if receiving the extravagant funding Dublin get.
I donât think they would .
Another cuala v na p final would be fucking brilliant, in my biased opinion.
They have been fairly underwhelming and their better hurlers while suited to winter pitches lack real class
Itâd be a serious game youâd imagine.
I think itâs harsh to judge kilkenny as an underage player but connolly on when he dipped his toe back in for vinnies seniors or dubs u21⌠He wasnât hurling as regularly. .
Connolly was outstanding for dublin colleges in their all ireland âAâ win in 2006 âŚ
I found him way more stylish hurler than kilkenny. Thatâs not to diminish kilkenny as a hurler. He was very good. But like you said not as tidy
Latte sales would be off the chain
