I was in Parnell Park last night. Na Fianna and Boden was a tremendous game. It had everything. Na Fianna played some mesmerising football at times. The ref was hard on them but their failure to convert goal chances cost them ultimately. Boden could go all the way. They are a huge team built for winter football with some tasty forwards.
Both Basquels and Conor McHugh have Mayo parents and are not getting a look in from Jim Gavin. They would need to move to Mayo to become eligible but if I was James Horan I would be hopping the ball anyway.

O mahony should have got black card. He went off soon after anyway so no real difference.

The ref didnât do much wrong, McHugh done enough to get a 2nd yellow for sure. But the lad who dragged him down and then celebrated the red card made a right show of himself.

Yes.Theres some sort of group of 2nd tier counties that you can play for without transferring. I donât think mayo are in that.Sure Cox made a right bollix of himself transferring to some club in roscommon only to be told he didnât have to then 're transferring agin

Thought Younger basquel left of his own accord this year ? The older lad got look in for league last year. Done well enough and then got injured⌠Then got dropped from panel?

McHugh has been on the Dublin panel for 5-6 years. He played a few league games but rarely makes the match day 26 for championship. Gavin just doesnât seem to fancy him. I think it might be a ginger team. Gavin has never consistently picked a ginger
