What’s the feeling in laois about sugrue leaving the senior gig to manage an underage team in kerry?

Sorry to lose him, but he didn’t leave Laois to manage Kerry U20s. He was gone from Laois long before he got offered the Kerry gig. Shur he’s a Kerry man, why wouldn’t he manage a Kerry team?

Fuck Portlaoise

Fuck Rhode

Ah yeah fair enough he’s a Kerry man… But he had laois on the up and with bit more time could have kept going up… Was it the end of hsi tenure or did he leave before agreed time?

He was on one year deals. His call. Got the impression he wasn’t happy with the buy in from the CB personally. He has a young family and his own business. But when Kerry came calling he was never going to turn it down if he could have a crack off it.

Jesus we were awful. Hugely disappointing result

Brigid’s and Castleknock beat, ah lovely

They’re the same thing pal… Just a few disgruntled members got out early…

Niall Gilligan is some legend.

Singlehandly kept the bridge senior for a few years in the second half of the 2000s. An outstanding club hurlers in his prime

Brigids Hurlers in the county final and their footballers relegated. Who would have thunk it?

Brian Bruno McCormack now has 16 Senior County Titles. And one Hurling one in there just for the crack.

Legend is bandied about too often but he is one. I hope if it’s not the well he’ll win out the club all Ireland.

He won one already I think? 1995/1996?

Cheddar Plunkett leads The Village to a Senior Final in Kilkenny. They’ll be hoping to win a first title since 2011, when they were managed by Niall Rigney. Cheddars Village overcame Castlecomer who were managed by Eamon Jackman, a clubmate of Cheddars next in command, Seamus Dwyer in Ballinakill.

Incidentally, NIall Rigney was the Portlaoise manager today, as they won their 13th football title in 14 years.

I think they’ll win Munster… Look to be built for winter hurling.

Davy is unreal to prepare a team. They’ll beat ballygunner in two weeks.

Hard to see beyond Boden in Dublin. Watched back that Na Fianna game - it was quality of the highest order. McHugh would walk onto any other county side in the country.
