The bridge are a very strong side full of powerful physical hurlers. Lacking that one or two real stars step up when up against it and it will stop them getting to Paddyās day. If they had Gilly in his pomp they would be a formidable outfit.
Bridge should be miles out of sight. Consistently have two or three men available for short puckouts and driving it long into Cratloe halfback line. Unusual for a Davy team.
SMB very calm on the ball. Cratloe set their stall out too early avoiding the sweeper with long range shooting didnāt stretch them. Had to expect a lot from mcgrath and got nothing, albeit after a knock.

Davy has such a big entourage this poor captain canāt remember the half of them.
The article yesterday said Davy left his wedding to train the lads at 6:30. The captain just after saying there he trained them the day before and the day after the wedding
