Exactly. Iām sure heās gettin well paid for his time.
It was a very ordinary Down championship and they were very lucky to come through it. I imagine Moran wouldnāt have gone there unless he felt there was an Ulster in them but they havenāt shown much sign of it yet.
Tullaroan will take care of them easily
Kilruane
Iād fancy Trillick as well
Or failing that, Clontibret
Kilcoo are a supermarket value brand Oulart The Ballagh, perennial flatterers to deceive
Sean Stack played for Sixmilebridge against the Toomevara team he was managing in the 1993 Munster club hurling final
Must have been an interesting half time team talk
What dates are the Ulster semi-finals?
Two weeksā time I presume
Thatās the way pretty much all provincial club championships work
Stack played for his HOME club and i donāt believe he had anything to do with toome on the day of the game itself.
Completely different to what McEntee has just done
McEntee done his fucking job.
The Clontibret man who is impressing me the most lately is Conor Boyle at full-back. I think heās too small to play there at county level but maybe at wing-half-back for the county. If Clontibret get ahead of you early then youāre in trouble.
Jaypurs
Doing his hobby you mean, surely. GAA team management not a job.
Mental that lads are even suggesting heād stand aside. Be like suggesting davy not turn up if wx play. Klare in the championship.
Ballygunner 0-10
Sixmilebridge 0-4
Gunners well on top, physically dominating things which is a surprise. Both teams setting up with an extra man at the back but the Ballygunner backs winning their individual battles in any case. Syl was calling it a strong breeze on the radio but tis mild enough here.
Thought the bridge would be better.
1-13 to 0-07 HT to Ballygunner
Theyāve been poor alright.
Ballygunner 1-13
Sixmilebridge 0-7
Halftime
Dessie Hutchinson got the goal after Barry Coughlan had soloed up the field and had his shot saved. Bit of a scuffle up the field after the goal went in where the Bridge should have had a red from what I saw, Mahony given a yellow in the end. Hutchinson, Hogan and Timmy OāSullivan all roasting their men. Philip Mahony hurling a load of ball at his ease. Jamie Shanahan and Alex Morey the only Bridge lads winning their own ball.
Sixmilebridge are finished, donāt know what to do with the ball. Ballygunner are a strong hungry team. Will take stopping this year
Ballygunner are a very good team. Not surprised by that scoreline at all
