Not half as fuckin nervous as the turkey they left on the farm
He had a great bit of cut about him
Apart from Hutchinson who was phenomenal, the rest of the Gunners forwards weren’t up to much and failed to take responsibility.
Hard to know where they go from here.
A big night, several big nights!
They’ll be back to lose the 2029 Munster final
They lost in 1999 and 2009 as well
The Munster championship is very much the poor relation of the provincial club hurling championships, so it’s hardly a surprise that it continually produces poor finals
Ballygunner have plenty of competition for that particular accolade. Munster Club Champions have won just 4 of the last 31 All Irelands. Three of those four final wins were against Antrim clubs.
You’d have to say next week’s South Leinster derby is the real All-Ireland final
Congratulations jonny Kelly, a proper thick easht galway roaster
Borris is not a small club, they’ve a good pick & have been really underperforming for years imo.
Great year for them after all the heartache & misery that has landed at their doors.
Brendan Maher enjoying the celebrations as much as any AI he’s won with Tipperary. He is some boy for the big day.
Seems to be a brilliant manager. Why was he never touted for the Galway job?
The winter is a great leveller
Cos he’s a header on the field who started fights with half the county in his playing days perhaps. Grand lad off it. He’s improving as he learns he was raw over the college there for a few years.
What was this again, I can’t remember?
If you were a Cork cunt you would have just said “college” there instead of “the college”. Fair play
Paddy Saints sister’s death from cancer, another young chap with suicide and a young fellow from a drug overdose
Jaysus. I’d forgotten about Stapleton girl but the others were news to me.
A former player and selector in his 40s choked on a sucky sweet and died in the summer of 2018 too.
They’ve had it rough
Paddy Stapletons sister losing her battle with illness, couple of suicides in the area too.
They’ve rallied massively up there, built on more playing fields and made good headway with a club house also.
They have some great people involved too and are a decent bunch.
They have always had hurlers but never enough to consistently compete underage especially. Last year’s under 12 was their first County A title underage ever I believe.
The addition of young players like Ray McCormack Devanny and Jerry Kelly in the last 2/3 years as well as the kildare contingent has made a massive difference.
Spare a thought for their former goalkeeper who had been there for a number of years before taking a year out this year to focus on accountancy exams.
