Are they senior?
Yes.
Eglish are McKenna’s club.
Pomeroy have the McGearys and Frank Burns.
Grand bright evening…. Have they turned on the lights yet?
Yes. Lights were on when I arrived.
Double header this evening.
Wonderful goal from Eglish.
McKenna is running the show, though it’s likes seeing treble at times as they all look so alike.
Eglish 1-06
Pomeroy 0-03
at the water break.
V good quality stream
The Strule is a bit bigger than a stream tbf.
Is it anywhere close to a full house or is there only 15k at it ?
I would say about 1k here.
Have RTÉ given up on televising GAA club games? Seemed to have a good few double headers on TV over the last couple of years this time of year but nothing this season at all. They seem to have gone all in on this new United rugby championship which will be more or less the same as the Pro 14 I’d imagine.
I think they are televising provincal club championship games. No URC games in November.
They got the rugby so the club GAA got the welly I would assume
I’d rather watch a good club game than a rotated Leinster team hammering Zebre.
You and I would but the great Irish public don’t
So McBennett thinks anyway. That rugby competition would only be worth watching from the semi-finals onwards. Poor relation to the Champions Cup.
Agreed again but we are in a huge minority
Club GAA is real niche stuff
McBennett waa saying GAA club championship had way higher ratings than league of Ireland games so id imagine they will be showing games.
Big deal again LOI is real niche
