Most people up north are civil servants so it works out okay I’d say
Monday night games are common enough up here though iv no idea why. Doing a days work, then rushing to wherever the game is on. At least on a Friday evening you can head out for a few pints after, dissect the game and lie in bed the Saturday. Them lads are straight home and up for work tomorrow morning. It’s no wonder so many young lads just stick to the 3pm soccer game on a Saturday and back to the pub after.
Is Fergus McCarron back playing for them?
Was back with them last year but don’t think he’s been involved this year.

The logic is that people can get to see all the games I think. They generally would try not to have fixture clashes across the three grades.
