Crossmolina last years winners, An Gaeltacht this year, both had played in the senior club final this century. I donât think any club had ever before played in a senior final and then intermediate, probably an indication of the change in rural Ireland that two of the more remote clubs should do it in consecutive years.
Aidan is surely the first to win an Intermediate Club in hurling and football

All things are cyclical in rural clubs though as well, or so theyâll hope enteral. Super clubs are another story, but the likes of Gaeltacht and Caltra etc are different stories.

Glen have to be better than that. Thereâs ways of losing, and playing with your Club in Croke Park is an incredible day for Clubs like them, but youâd wonder will they have regrets about how they went about today. No matter I suppose, theyâve had a year of years.
