A logistical nightmare
Only 2 sets if dressing rooms in Croke Park.
There can be huge pressure to get the teams from the first match out to allow the teams for the 3rd match in and begin their preparation, for instance. Quite often, they are not inclined to be hurried
It can be particularly chaotic if any games go to extra time.

The Junior games should get their own day.
The Inter and Senior should get separate Sunday’s.
Its not befitting for an All Ireland Senior Club Hurling Final to be a curtain raiser with Cusack Stand dressing rooms in use and no parade or anthem.

Wouldn’t bother the junior clubs, they’re just delighted to be there and would most likely have a lot more in common with each other. There’ll be fuck all there mind you
They used to manage it back in the 00’s when we were a proper country. I attended a Wexford v Kilkenny (minor), Wexford v Laois (football) and Wexford v Dublin (hurling) triple-header in June 2008. An enjoyable day that was capped off with a fine feed in Jack Whites on the journey home as Spain beat Italy on penalties at Euro 2008.
I think I may have attended one in 2007 as well. Wexford played Kilkenny in an All-Ireland semi-final before the Waterford v Cork quarter-final replay. I’m fairly sure this was all preceded by the Christy Ring final as well. Those kind of triple-headers seem very much consigned to the past however. Apart from the LGFA/Camogie finals.
