Have there ever been any Aussies an an auld year break in Ireland playing gaelic football. Or Spanards or Eyetalans or tans or Germans etc?

We’ve had a scatter of Ozzies tog for us over the years, don’t think any were ever close to playing senior but they would manage away at junior

That article has been debunked. Socrates did indeed study medicine in Dublin.

Ballyhale Shamrocks won U14 B, U16 B and Minor C in 2024. Much less successful in 2025.

Yes, 2026 Minors are in A grade (same as for 2025 Minors).

I’m almost sure Danny Cullotty only moved from America to Ireland as an oldish teen and was on the winning cork team in 1990 at midfield. He could hardly kick the ball but was an unreal fielder.
Kevin Cassidy was actually Scottish.
I think I might be veering off topic here.
