1-21 to 1-19 to DLS.
Portumna should have far too much for them but a good tight semi final is often the best preparation for a final.

Outstanding game of hurling between Tumna and Hale, just outstanding.
Fucking raging I missed it, sounded like a cracker…Fair play to Portumna, if they win Paddy’s day then they will have to be regarded as one of the greatest club sides of all time along with the Birr team of a few years ago…
Great side alright. Canning and Shefflin both excelled today but I’d say the younger man played better. Unreal the shit he can do
And it all comes so naturally to him also. However to me, today was all about the lesser names of the Tumna team, they just blew Hale away all over the park.
Heard the Portumna corner back (Dolphin?) was superb and the lesser lights for Portumna came to the fore…
Presume it will be repeated during the week

Highlights at 8 on rte 2, tg4 will have highlights tomorrow night.
Fuck it, it’s clashing with Fair City:mad:
tg4 website is usually a good stop off, they tend to put up all their games that they show.
Dolphins a real talent.Up from minor last year and struck up a great partnership with Ollie Canning thru the Galway championship, couldn’t have a better mentor in fairness. Wouldn’t be suprised to see him get call up for the county after paddys day. Him and plenty more from Port
From watching the RTE News, it seems Brian Phelan pointed a sideline from halfway to send the game to extra time. At least that’s what the voiceover report was claiming but knowing RTE it was probably a score from early in the second half. Some point nonetheless.
Watched all the game on tg4 after Tumna game. It was a wicked sideline, great strike. Felt Cush were in hard luck though, they more than had the winning of that.
No offence to any DLS or Deise men, but Tumna will puck them up a stick on todays showings.

:mad:Well theres offence taken!!!
You can’t judge the outcome of the all ireland at this stage based on two totally different performances and different style matches.
I thought DLS were fantastic today and am even more proud than ever to be a Waterford man this evening, another Waterford team in an All Ireland
Cian no offense but Portumna have lost only one championship match in 4 years and IMHO are as good a club hurling side that there has been, De La Salle have now struggled to beat an average enough Adare side and Cushendall, they will do very well to stay within 8 points of Portumna, although I would not begrudge De La Salle any success I just can’t see Portumna being beaten
That was unbelievable hurling in all fairness. I cleaned out PP this weekend, mostly due to the GAA games. I love cleaning them. Whoever made Ballyhale 8/15 should loose their job.

In all honesty, Portumna are possibly the best club hurling team of all time. It would be no shame to loose to them. Having said that i’d love to see DLS win.
saw a bit on telly today after DB texted me to say it was a cracking - whatever about stick hurling being a shit game in the summer its a truely horrible game at this time of year -
Has a Waterford club ever won the Club championship, Monut Sion and Ballygunner both made the final earlier this decade but were both beaten by Birr…
Has a Waterford person ever won anything?
Didn’t Sean Kelly win a few bike races, although I think he might be a Tipp man
