fair enough…hate them myself…there’s always rumours regarding big clubs in Dublin…Crokes in football and Boden in hurling don’t need to recruit outsiders as both them have a frightening amount coming through at underage…thats not to say they’ll stop a lad wanting to join them…everyone benefits from competition in a team…I rememeber being in a dressingroom with Eric Miller before a match…a former Irish rugby international and Lions player and this oul’ lad hounding him for 20 for the new club shorts he gave him the week before…and the ridiculous rumour was how much did Boden pay Miller to come back and play a bit of gaa …the lad literally didn’t even get so much as a free pair of shorts… fcukin hilarious…
Crokes have a savage underage set up, no arguments there, some big nurseries up around there too, but still, I’ve never been able to take to them at all.

Fucking hell. That was a handy CIT team, if a little young and light. UL must be impressive.
A chance for UL to emulate the hero’s of 2002. Them were days. What a weekend in Galway it was, and week in the hurlers that followed.
Saw them earlier in the year and they have a very strong team, Ger Cunningham is training them and he has them playing a running game like he had Newtownshandrum playing a few years ago…

Won player of the tournament in that Fitz. Shefflin, JJ, Mick Jacon, Paul Curran, Setanta and co werent able to put it up to Beefy in the final he was immense.

I’ve no sympathy for waderfurd in this regard. As long as fitzy isn’t stupid enough to try and use it as a motivational too when they all know in their hearts what he did was idiotic. He’ll be back for championship anyway so it makes no odds.
Oh it was a terrible blow, but the GAA have given the impression that he done it unprovoked.
