i am my own worse enemy when it comes to things like this bandage…tend to over analyse these kinda things…draw was probably the fairest result…both teams gave it everything and it was a very intense match…no quarter asked or given but clean all the same…
don’t think i am disappointed with the draw but i had been looking forward to the session for a number of weeks and was told by management no boozin tonight…
newmarket gave an excellent display to beat joseph’s in the park today although they were afforded too much time and space by a joseph’s team that never got going…1-20 to 3-8…goal just before half time wrapped it up…newmarket were winning by 12 points with 5 minutes left only for joseph’s to get a couple of soft goals…newmarket were impressive…dominated form 5-12 but josephs looked well off the pace and never looked like matching the blues in terms of work rate or intensity…
good result for clonlara/crusheen as it wasn’t much of a game for newmarket as they weren’t tested and they might well start believing their own hype(as they have done before)…crusheen/clonlara wouldn’t have much to fear off newmarket if either oif them hurled with the same bite and intensity as yesterday…although i would expect the blues to be red hot favourites for the final…
If only Drico had your mental fortitude and dedication, we would be up there with the All Blacks now Puke.
considering i went on the piss the week of a championship match only a couple of months ago SS** i mightn’t be the best example…wouldn’t call myself the most committed trainer but sure no point cutting off your nose to spite your face this late in the year…only a few weeks left in the season and i have all winter and early spring to get back to my man about town ways…
ballyhale beat carrickshocks today with a bit to spare…james stephens won the other semi final in kilkenny…
thurles beat clonaulthy in extra time to book a place in the tipp decider with toom…
birr beat kinnitty by a goal to win yet another offaly title…
can any of the tipp contributors fill me in about clonaulthy…can’t say i have ever really heard of them…what part of tipp are they from (south?)…they must be some bit decent to get to a county semi final and lose in extra time of a replay to thurles sarfields…could be wrong but is john devane from that neck of the woods or is he killenaule…
You have never heard of Clonoulty-Rossmore, the home of Declan Ryan?
Puke, I’m gobsmacked.

well you have to remember my relative young age SS**…honestly couldn’t have told you what club the bould declan was from…would know a few staunch tipp hurling heads who would keep me updated with the goings on in tipp and never really heard any of them talk about clonaulty-rossmore…
They wouldn’t be a glamour club like the Greyhounds or Sars, it’s true, but they have been going quite well in the last few years. How old are you Pukey?
what age would you put on me SS**
i will be 22 in a few weeks SS**…i have a wise head on these shoulders of mine though;)…

Shame on you Puke, they are a very famous club as SS pointed out.
how are they very famous…if they were i surely would have heard of them by now…if they are so famous boxty any chance you could name me a few more of their players that have hurled for tipp;)…
I think they’ve won an All Ireland club pukey…something they puck into Toomey a fair bit about.
Rathdowney Errill put paid to The Towns hopes of a double in Laois today, a pointed free from Alan Delaney saw Rathdowney/Errill get their 2nd title in 3 years as an amalgamation. Lot of injury time played, but was a humdinger of a game and a credit to Laois hurling.
St Patricks and Ballysteen advanced to the intermediate football final in Limerick.
Bruff won the Intermediate hurling final. A flurry of early goals gave them the advantage and Caherline could never peg them back.
De La Salle accounted for Fourmilewater in Waterford by the minimum on Saturday. Abbeyside beat Ballyduff Lwr handy enough. Tallow beat Ballygunner in a low scoring match, and Lismore and Ballyduff Upr played out a very entertaining draw.
De La Salle now meet Tallow in a semi-final next Sunday, while Lismore and Ballyduff Upr will replay on Saturday to see who will face Abbeyide in the other Semi-Final.
who would be the favourite out of that hangblaa…
Toomw will Bate Clonoulty handy in the Tipp Final. Toome have timed it perfectly for a run at the Munster Title - No interest in the league, bate out of the North a bit too easily and now kicking their heels waiting for Clonoulty in the County Final. Toome will win Munster.
i am on the clon panel…should get a run sunday if there is a blood sub or (hopefully not) an injury…haven’t got a look in since the twins returned…
couldn’t be saying who i play soccer for as then it would give me away…an educated guess as to the teams(team) out that side of the county and you should have it…
do you play the bit yourself…
ya i was playing untill this year.
Bridge celtic a’s or B’s Keeper??
hard luck yesterday.
Kilmihil return to senior status after a seven year absence.
