Coffee thread, aka a thread for spoofers

This is the only way to go. Theres a steep learning curve but before you can say farmer in the city you’ll be in full control of the levels of nuance, resonance, humility and immediacy in your roast. Freshness is guaranteed …and not talking about the dumbass same day freshness where the bag is inflated due to the beans still having co2 to bleed off, thereby leading to froth instead of crema, not that most people would even notice this catastrophe. …why there was a time …

It’s not a game changer.

Because it’s not a fucking game.

Sorry, the link

Agreed. I like the Nicaraguan one too.

SD Bells had nice stuff but charged a fortune for delivery so stopped using them cc @glenshane.

Bastards…they probably have some retailers in the free state

You get great ones in Gregg’s for free given they cost £2.50 or summat but come with a free coffee.
They are brilliant.
Indestructible also.

Don’t tell @backinatracksuit, it’ll break him bad

Big spoon of sugar.

I haven’t the first idea what that means

Got a Sealpod reusable pods lately for the Nespresso machine; using the Bean in Dingle grind to put into the pods and have been underwhelmed to say the least. I’m not sure if it’s the coffee or the Sealpod is just crap. The reviews online for the pod are good.

Thanks.

Haven’t done it inverted but I’m aware of it - what’s the theory on why it’s better?

I don’t know the science, it was a fella in the Fika coffee shop I mentioned earlier said it to me, I still use the machine most of the time,

With the inverted method there’s no drip, there’s a rake of YouTube videos explaining,
You’re wetting the filter before you put it in?

Just try it inverted and see what you think, make sure the grind is a little less fine than an espresso grind
