Actually, while youâre there and seeing that you are a self appointed mouthpiece for WTB, do you agree with his frankly mindboggling theory that Leinster beat Munster because Leinster caught them cold? I notice that WTB hasnât expanded that any further.
You do believe him to be on a higher plain of existence after all.
many reasons why. oâlearyâs absence cannot be over-stated.
munster were flat on the day, they didnât play as well as they did against say ospreys or sale. doesnât matter why, whether because leinster didnât let them play, because they built up an early lead and could soak up the pressure, or because the build-up/complacency/hype/bandwagon momentum got to them.
I am away for the day and I come back to thisâŚ
Can I reiterate: this is the thread to congratulate Leinster
Not a thread for wumming by bitter Munter folk
We are Leinster, champions of Europe and home to a team of alright sorts
Get over it

I donât come on here to cheerlead the efforts of some team I donât support, I supplied an objective perspective on the competition, so get over itâŚ

As Gerry Thornley mentioned in his article today, Leinster have always had a bigger core support than Munster. That was evidenced as far back as 2001 when 14-man Leinster won the Celtic League final against Munster and the stands were dominated by eastern seaboard folk.
Saturdayâs victory is for all those supporters whoâve been with the team every painstaking, and often heartbreaking, step of the way. Thatâs why it means so much to the Leinster support - they were always there and didnât just arrive en masse on the bandwagon when the honours arrived.
The fans running in after the game was gas, there was some quick bursts of pace shown to the security! Not wumming here but I dont remember that after Munsters win last year, maybe the perimeter was just better patroled?
