I think it needs to come to a point where all private backers are disclosed that supplement the IRFU. Whether itâs OâBrien, McIlroy, the Munster private group or the lads Connacht had contribute to the stadium redevelopment costs. Iâve never seen a sport where private investors are such an Eyes Wide Shut protected species.
I wouldnât be averse to a cap across european teams. Works extremely well in other sports (particularly NRL).
Might still be some inequality with some teams not able to meet the cap but would at least set limits of power of money and competitive advantages need to be found through other means of the clubs setup and organisation- eg development, efficient backroom etc

Iâm a massive fan of Nankevell. But Iâd say that is his second red for Munster. And he has had at least one v lucky escape on top of thatâŚmaybe against Stade or Sarries this season
